Blogger argues two independent methods, based on UK national statistics, imply that about 56-60% of allegations of domestic abuse made in private law cases in the family courts are false, with many others being trivial. This contrasts with Family Justice Review claim such false allegations are rare

Study finds that "manuscripts written by women as solo authors or coauthored by women were treated even more favorably by referees and editors" yet gets reported with the heading "no gender bias". Gender bias against men doesn't seem to count as gender bias!

Following a petition, Winchester University cancelled a talk with two men's rights activists in 2019. Here is the text of one of the talks (by William Collins) that were planned. It covers education, suffrage and coverture. It's disappointing that such views can't be expressed in such a forum.

95% of strip searches of children reported in England & Wales are of boys. This may or may not be an issue but I found it interesting that it was considered unfair that black children were more likely to be strip-searched but this huge gender disparity was barely mentioned in lots of media coverage.

The simple reality is that people lie. Doesn't matter whether the person is a woman, man, white, black, veteran, homeless, etc. We have laws because people act in ways that society deems unacceptable - murder, rape, theft, domestic violence, etc.

But for whatever reason, the loud radical viewpoint has conflated questioning whether a specific crime actually occurred (rape, domestic violence, etc) with approval of the underlying TYPE of crime. The actual incident (or lack of incident as is often the case) isn't really relevant to these people at all. They don't CARE whether the crime took place, because they view guilt as belonging to the specific group they have in mind (men usually).

When an allegation against a man is taken as proof of guilt of all men, facts don't matter. We tend to believe that if we logically point this out, the opposing side will understand and change their viewpoints to conform with reality. This isn't what happens though.

The point to take home is that women have an incentive to lie in court about domestic abuse because that way they can get benefits. And the - feminist - British authorities are fighting for these women by, among other things, downplaying the number of false accusations.

The situation is pretty ugly for married men. There's nothing they can do when the whole system is rigged against them. How do you prove to the system that you didn't abuse your wife particularly when the system insists that women very rarely lie about these things?

The real point is this blogger is shite at stats. I know it chimes with your pre-existing views but it's bollocks.

His problem is equating family law figures with general population figures. As hard as it is to believe when you spend your days on a MensRights sub, many separations are fairly amicable. Comparing the number of allegations made in family court with the self-reported figures in the crime stats is disingenuous to say the least.
