What I find interesting is the fact that women are victimized about body issues. Yes women are pressured to have a certain body type, but so are men. I am diagnosed with PTSD and still have nightmares and flashbacks to girls publicly ridiculing my body. My experiences in the workplace have shown that both men and women don't change much after the twelfth grade. The media shows female movie stars as very thin and male movie stars as ripped. Look at the TMNT series. The first showed the turtles as having realistic bodies. Then they went way beyond what is physically possible without steroids.
