I was hoping for something more in the article than that.

Perhaps the event had more to say than what the article reported on, but the way it's presented there - although not necessarily outright wrong - it seems marginally better than most discussions, but still has a whiff of "because patriarchy" about it. The definition of inceldom didn't exactly strike me as having been well understood either.

I feel sorry for the boys and men who meet these social workers and psychologists as professionals in real life.

If you read carefully enough, you can spot that this event and the topics discussed there are an echo to the 'new paradigm' of the feminist movement's approach to men described here:

I was hoping for something good but then they used toxic masculinity and I lost interest. People really be acting like toxic masculinity is something different than toxic everything else. Everything can become toxic and masculinity is nothing special.
