Y'all will find this really interesting. Recently, I wanted to take an honest and neutral "poll" of why men and women believe what they do about the opposite sex. I wanted to ask feminists why they were feminists, and conversely, why "red-pill" men said they were "red-pilled."
To comply with this subreddit's rules, I won't name the other subs in which I posted, nor will I divulge a lot of detail about what happened. I have since deleted the posts.
However, suffice it to say that I wasn't even permitted to ask the question for men in the group I chose, nor can I post there anymore....because apparently asking men about their perspectives on women -- even once -- is socially unacceptable. Meanwhile on the other sub for the feminists, I received a lot of responses from women, who seemed proud to explain their perspectives on men.
I find it ironic than in my desire to be neutral and ask each sex about their potentially negative views on the other, the very act of asking revealed a double standard that men deal with. I had been asking men what their "red pill" moment was, and in tandem with a lot of my own personal experiences, maybe this has been my red-pill moment.
