Australian journalist Bettina Arndt is working with a group of pro-male women (Mothers of Sons) to highlight the dangers of new legislation that will make "coercive control" a criminal offence. You can find her article here.

The quick summary is:

  • Coercive control is a pure con. It was made up in 2007 by a feminist with no training in psychology or any other science, plus no knowledge of statistics, criminology or law. All credible academic research says it's wrong.
  • To make the legislation work, police, judges and public prosecutors are being given feminist indoctrination and are increasingly falling under the control of feminists from the domestic violence industry. All sorts of legal safeguards are being dismantled.

Here in NSW the end result can be 7 years jail even if the "victim-survivor" doesn't think there's a problem and even if no harm is done. Assault only gets you 2 years...
