In this class we discussed violence and abuse. Intimate partner violence etc. The point is when we covered women's health it was thorough, detailed, and interesting. However when violence against males came up..... Literally they just put on a documentary about Catholic church sex abuse on young boys. Like that's the only rape, abuse, or violence a man can face. Even when quoting the law, it specified women and ignored all forms of men's rights. This is a nursing class. After class I expressed my disappointment and the teacher agreed the material was dated and next semester could benefit from new material. It would be great if we could make these nurses realize the extent of their own ignorance.

Tldr: nurses know nothing of abuse or violence against males. Emotional, physical, or psychological. I could use some support here.
