In my single days I was a slut, and quite happy being one. Fuck those who didn't like it. Once I was ready for marriage I became monogamous. My spouse and I don't care about the other's past. As it should be. Don't worry about what others say or think.

I was quite sexually active in highschool, but it was the same thing, many of which were at parties, but I'd always make sure they were sober, as well as me, some of which were regular hookups, now that I'm in college, I've gone a little over 3 years without having sex with anyone after a relationship went awry, and a year after, there was a couple accusations made by this former relationship and I haven't been willing to risk it again after that happened

There’s always going to be people with either religious/traditional/ideologically based values who shame or disparage sexually active people.

There are men who do it, and there are women who do it. Men and women both are attacked for their promiscuity by both men and women.

There are entitled, narcissistic men who believe women should be “chaste”, and if they aren’t, then they are “sluts” (used as a derogatory term) and of lesser value, and become “damaged goods”, but are fine with men being promiscuous and free to sleep around.

There are entitled, narcissistic women who believe men who are (successfully) promiscuous are fuckboys, assholes, so on and so forth, or even sometimes I’ve heard “rapists-in-waiting.”

There are people (both men and women) who believe both men and women should treat sex as sacred and disapprove and disparage both men and women equally should they be promiscuous. Whilst I very firmly disagree with the idea that sex increases or decreases a persons value or humanity, I at least have a little respect for the people who hold both men and women to the same standard.

Learn to ignore the haters. Let the bigots and idiots shout into silence.

When people do these things I actually thank them in my head. “Thankyou for making me aware of your bigotry and idiocy, now I don’t need to worry about wasting any of my time, energy, or attention on you.”

I think you mean you used to sleep around or be a “player” or “promiscuous”, whichever term you prefer!

They're most probably the same idiots who would give you a hard time for being sexually INactive
