This weekend I was browsing through movies on my fios on demand, and saw a movie called "super" I thought I might enjoy. The basic premise is it is a dark comedy about a man who dresses up as a super hero to take on this boss of a strip joint that also traffics drugs. One of the costars in this movie is Ellen Page. She played in juno and a few other movies, and for the most part I enjoy her acting. She is also an outspoken feminist and adored in feminist circles:

She loves talking about womens issues and is so outspoken on sexual assault, she stared in the movie 'hard candy'. What surprised me, however, was a woman who routinely talks about issues like domestic violence and sexual assault against women, would take a role in which she rapes a man and it seen as humorous. Here is the scene from super in which she rapes the main character:

Notice how funny it is that he over and over says no, and acts all awkward. LOL GET IT, RAPING MEN IS FUNNY, but womens issues are serious!! I guess even famous hollywood feminists dont want equality, but want to show how funny it is when women sexually assault men.

One other thing I wanted to note, in those articles I previously linked, they praise her for choosing to be in more "masculine" roles. Is that what she thinks it is to be in a masculine role? To rape someone?
