Speak to your partner. Equal effort, not equal chores. My partner works longer hours than me, therefore I do more of the housework. Actually I do about 99% of it. I still see it as being an equal partnership, we’re just bringing different things to the table.

An older woman once told me that the household is like a business, and with two people trying to do the same job it’s destined for failure. I think she was right.
