I mean, guys have the same treatment too? I can't tell you how many times I've heard that one, either directly, or from people I know.

That isn't the only problem that is often not found until much later, even when the symptoms are clear. Yeah, I agree it's a problem, but it's not a gender problem.
They aren't wrong exactly, but it's yet another case of "there's a problem, women happen to be affected by it, therefore, women are oppressed". Why does every problem have to be turned into a gender problem?

They are making statements that are true but equating them to sexism. Women think, wow I’ve heard these statements before. Men can also think, I’ve heard these statements before. But women present it as a gender issue and actually get the problem solved, while men the same problem are left out of the discussion.
