Paradox: -Women biggest threat is a men. This is because men are violent. -But men also experience violence, statistics say even more. -That is not our problem, that is because all men are violent. -So that means men who get beaten are not average representation of men, but men who use violence are?

This is something you who watched the movie will really like. But I want to point out great turning point in movie. Through whole movie Evelyn saw Waymond silly, weak and incompetent. But didnt realized she is having this picture in her head what kind of man society needs, and what kind of man it dont.

Then there was pivotal moment when that non alpha Waymond says: "In another life, I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you." This turning point made me cry my eyes out.

And from this moment Evelyn is transformed, healing her relationship with daughter and deciding to stay in "worse of all multiverses".

Also, important part is her father from Hong Kong who represents "toxic masculinity" and generational trauma which is with her at that time. Stay with me.

This made me think is that picture of toxic masculinity wasnt only in men as society thinks, but in women minds too. She saw her husband kindess and empathy as weakness and burden, and she saw alpha Waymond as perfect Waymond. But...only when Waymond showed her that empathy and kindness is strength, only then she realized that she had this picture of toxic masculinity all the way with her, maybe from her traditional father, which is not important.

This is so crucial for women, and men, to understand that because women also choose men, they choose them with their picture of toxic men in their head, and seing non toxic people as weak. Then after some time they realize they are actually toxic. Women need to realize they are torch bearers for toxic masculinity as same as some man.

This is so f... important.

This movie will be seen as women characters badasses, but Waymond is the real silent hero. I hope some of them realize this, maybe we can finally get to some point to understand and respect each other.

This is for everyone who has some of the Waymond in himself
