I’m looking for some guidance on next steps. I’ll try and keep this post short and direct and I’ll answer any questions to clarify. I’m in Indiana and I have a pending criminal case so some info I can’t share.

Married my high school sweetheart. 20 years. Three kids. As a strategy in her planned divorce she gets a protection order issued under false pretense.

I was arrested on a warrant and spent three days in jail on stalking charges for violation of the PO. I was never served the protection. The prosecution has no record of service of the protection order. Furthermore, the only service date of the protection order the prosecution has presented is dated four days after the dates of offenses that I was arrested for.

It was clear to the police and prosecution that I had not been served the protection order and I was still arrested.

I spent three days in jail, I lost my job and I have been unable to see my children for almost a year.
