Was reading an article on a feminist website written by a trans-woman who details all of the horrible oppression she faces as a direct result of being mistaken for a man. This is called "transmisogyny" within feminist circles. Never mind the fact that most of the experiences she details are more logically relatable to androphobia (such as being denied access to nail and hair salons because "No Men Allowed"). But then one quote in particular struck me:

"There’s also the life-risking endangerment when we are denied critical resources such as shelters, domestic violence advocacy, and healthcare."

Could it be that transwomen who are being mistaken for MEN are specifically denied these things, because MEN are denied these things? But no whisper on that from the feminist camp. It's just trans-misogyny, not misandry in policy! It doesn't exist!

Unbelievable, the mental gymnastics that feminists go through to avoid acknowledging the obvious.
