M.K. Gandhi was an ordinary Indian (albeit a lawyer working in South Africa) when something stirred his sense of moral indignation and set him on a course that would change South Africa as well as his native India. That event was being thrown out of a first class carriage on a train despite having a first class ticket because he was "black".

How ironic that India is now doing the same thing herself, only this time the victims are not persons of colour, they are men. The exact same arguments apply: whites did not want others sharing their carriages for the same reasons that women now want to be privileged over men. Shame on you India.
