You thought that if you help her it might start a relationship. However from what you said, assuming it's true what you are saying. She looks at you as her lifeboat. That is she will use you for work that she needs done, for money that she needs and she doesn't have and she has no intention to start or having a relationship with you.

I've heard plenty of similar stories. She uses you because she can. The longer you are going to help her the more she will have feeling that she is entitled to your help and she will use that as justification for retaliation against you.

Do not allow her to use you as her serf or as her wallet!

You tried to ‘nice guy’ your way into a relationship and it sounds like you got played, she only wants to be with the drugs, you should run, move on and forget she existed.

Chalk it up to an expensive lesson, but also know that not all women do this, but the ones that do, get talked about a lot. You should be having the internal discussion on how you let this happen, what need was she solving for you internally that allowed this control over you?

We can absolutely blame the woman, but only to a certain degree and it will just keep happening to you if you don’t make the corrections to attract someone who fits your ideals more appropriately.

Yes some women suck, but we already know this and can’t change them, so change how you present yourself so you don’t get taken advantage of

This sounds like a super draining “friendship” and she is very much taking advantage of you. That’s no friend of yours, cut contact and don’t bother helping her again. If you really want to help her, go ahead, but make sure she knows that you are NOT going to be her lifeline or do stuff for her without anything in return.
