Regardless of your opinion, the majority of sex people have is recreational, even among couples and married folks, so I don't really see the point of this post.

I guess I did. I posted this because my comment got lost / mishandled in a different post.

My response was as to whether sex is primarily procreational or recreational. I don't oppose recreational sex, but I am afraid the procreational aspect is sometimes overlooked, and an unwanted pregnancy occurs.

The problem we need to solve is how to protect the rights of all (three, or more) parties.

I am afraid this is a profoundly difficult problem of immense importance.

Is is possible to protect the rights of all?

If not, is there a hierarchy that we can agree on?

That will bar 99% of women having well just about anything, let alone children...

We men can only dream that one day women might actually follow that wisdom, instead of demanding the men they have sex with provide them with the emotional and financial support ready to take care of their children.
