Google, tech role models.

There have been thousands, if not millions of funding to get women more involved in STEM fields. I can think of many Male tech role models at the top of my head. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Elon Musk etc etc.

What people don't seem to grasp is, women, don't fucking care about STEM fields. If they did, they would simply enroll in STEM subjects. People love to say that there is a bias and women are discriminated against in STEM, they are twice more likely to get hired than an equally qualified man in STEM-related jobs. Jordan Peterson has good takes in why women don't take part in STEM here.

Really? 99.9pc? How about, say, African Americans who, I recollect vaguely, were even more underrepresented in MINT than women (depends quite a bit on whether you include biology and medicine, where I think women are overrepresented or on par).

Role models are important. Some girls who don't have role models grow up to be bad people.
