If you're really worried about this individual doing something then make a copy of the USB but don't look at it. If this person tries to do anything then you can say that there exists a copy of the information and it will be deleted after 30 days of no contact (or something). If you're really afraid then get some real or hypothetical leverage.

It's really hard to tell what you mean since you speak in vague terms, but I would only suggest bringing the real/fake copy up if things do go bad like you think they may. However, this isn't really a MR issue unless you have any other information.

If you want to be a dick, look through it see if there's anything incriminating like self nudes or something and tell the cops that the owner seems overly paranoid and you think it might have some criminal stuff on it, then all cops see said nudes and really embarrasses the hell out of the person and hopefully teaches them to be a bit more gracious when some one tries to be nice, you can even say so.
