I would be wary of requesting advice for something like this in a forum as wide as this one, and would suggest that you also post on your local subreddit so that you can get input from people who have experienced family court in your area. Family law varies so widely from place to place that even if we try to give you authentic advice, we could very well encourage you to do something that will end up fucking you over.

Do not do anything that anyone here suggests without consulting your legal counsel first.

For example, despite having spent 15 years in family court I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about when you say you switched from a lawyer to a "legal technician." I've never heard of a "legal technician."

What I can say is that your timeline is not atypical from what I experienced, especially if mom is not being cooperative. It takes a long, long fucking time to get any kind of momentum in family court. When I finally got custody of my son I had his mother dead to rights and it took over a month and several reworks just to get an agreement that she signed and agreed to multiple times in front of a judge, who promptly made my lawyer redo it all over again. In the end it cost me 6 months and nearly $10,000 to update our custody agreement without being contested at all.

Man it's unfortunate that your story can't reach people from your country. Aren't there any subs like legal advice or posting the question in your country sub?
