I'm fighting back tears. After 9 years of joint physical and legal custody my daughter's mother has told me that for the 3rd time she'll be moving. This time over an hour away. I just recently moved for the so that I could be closer to them, so that I could have her during the week and put her on the bus like I did this morning. I'm not sure if I want sympathy or advice, or support. I just know that it's to late at night to call and talk to anyone. I'm sitting here in stunned silence. Haven't moved in about an hour.

{EDIT}Thank you all for the helpful words of advice and comfort. After a long night of unfortunately finally breaking down and crying, and staring at my computer, I went to bed. Her mother and I have always been on good terms, but she has recently found a new boyfriend whom I believe to be "well off". The issues isn't so much that she's moving an hour away, it's that our daughter is suffering in school because she's already been to 3 different ones. The main issue is that I would like to keep her in the school district that she is currently in. Allow her to build a relationship with friends and the school. So with that said, and hopefully a clearer mind, I intend to speak again with her mother today in person. I'm hoping that it turns out well, but if she sticks to her guns I'm fearful that I'll have no choice but to return to the courts with her.
