This is a men’s rights issue because I am a man and I have a right to my health. Everybody talks about women’s health, but when it comes to men’s health, where are they? Low testosterone is a real problem and I suffer from it.

My testosterone usually tests in the mid 400s in the early morning. At night, it drops off and my estrogen spikes.I have mental and physical side effects of low testosterone.

So why do I want to lower my testosterone? I need to get testosterone replacement therapy.

To get a testosterone prescription, my testosterone must be below 250. But if I go in first thing in the morning to get my bloodwork done, It’ll test at 411 and the doctor will tell me that I’m just fine. (In the evening, my testosterone and DHT will dump, and SHBG and estrogen will rise.)

I am not allowed to purchase this medication because it is categorized by the DEA as a controlled substance. It is very hard to get a doctor to prescribe it. And men’s sexual health is not considered to be important, The doctor today told me that 400 was a good number and that raising the level up to seven or 800 was risky. I was able to suppress my anger, but the reason that that makes me angry is that it is important to live with vitality. Barely coasting along with low testosterone is a lousy way to live.

So again, how do I lower my testosterone? I’m shooting for a temporary reduction and levels below 250.
