The above paragraph is what I said. The other person responded;

Well, in your logic you can divorce at any moment or draft contractual changes isn't it ? So this situation can't happen in your worldview, people would have divorced / amended the contract at the second their opinion diverges, wouldn't they?

The above paragraph is word for word what the other person said, I copied and pasted it. I do not even understand what the other person is trying to argue. Will someone please give me an educated guess as to what the other person meant and then tell me what your response is/would be?
