They call it "interrupting" but it's more like actively participating in the conversation instead of sitting in a circle and passing around the talking stick...

Yup. I also work in tech and in my experience people interrupting add some missing information. Also, most of the time its senior employees interrupting. Just because you have something you want to say doesn’t mean it’s correct and worth listening to…

One day they will learn that men and women communicate different. In a healthy and comfortable work setting you will find men sharing and passing information quickly and to the point usually with as few words as possible in order to get on with it. Women seem to think this is rude and wait for a time to speak. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that just don't expect all the men in the office to adapt to you. If you are the outlier its your job to adapt to the situation.
