This is how I felt my whole 20's, despite that feeling and some hmm....hmm.....Minor set backs.(kicked out of the military with no benefits/alcoholism) I worked my ass off regardless and now my 30's are looking fantastic. Stay away from debt. You can chase pussy and hobbies once you've established your independence.

Here's my suggestion, if you're regularly looking at places that talk about this stuff. Stop. That includes this sub. Even places like this that are ostensibly pro-male, boost the voices of people who are anti-male. You don't need that shit in your life, especially not at your age.

Anger is actually the emotion that's mostly likely to get people to click something, so I know it can be really hard not to, but seeing that shit takes a toll on your mental health. I spent years looking on some subreddits I'm not going to mention, that would post screenshots of people being sexist towards men to laugh at, but it honestly made me feel like shit for being a man. I still struggle with it, to be honest.

If you can in any way stop yourself from seeing those negative voices, do it. It'll only help your mental health, and frankly, that's a lot more important than seeing some shitty tweets from sexist twitter users.

You also mentioned you're very young. Focus on school at the moment, it's not always going to be like this. If possible, see a counselor/therapist.

I'm glad I didn't have internet when I was growing up. When you are young it's important to make mistakes and learn from them so don't take to much notice of us just yet, but if in a few years you need a place to vent then give us a message, we will still be here 😉

I feel the same way sometimes, I fear that I will be cancelled because of trumped up and untrue charges and wrongful punishment under Title IX at my first college, even though I did nothing sexually wrong (I will have to admit that I was stupid with some barely related things though)

That is why you need to practice Men Going Their Own Way. Also, ghosting society will help a lot as well. However, you must do it and not discuss it with others. Learn about Stoicism and the Grey Rock Theory, as well.

I'm probably going to get downvoted for this but I feel like giving you a piece of my mind. Feeling like shit at such a young age, I've been there too.

However, blaming it on society, on women, on whatever injustice you feel isn't the way to surpass your current state. You are a man right? Then stop complaining and work! Work for yourself, work out, study hard, create your own bubble of focus and don't expect things to change for you out of pity or honesty or fairness. That's what a man does! Things get hard but he still gets them done! That's not "toxic masculinity", that's masculinity, you were blessed with it. Let the whining and complaining for them.

Its different from letting any women walk all over you. Defend yourself and don't bend over to any of them. They scream "girl power"? So what? Let them motivate themselves the way they enjoy it. You motivating yourself, that should be your focus.

Try not to take all this too seriously. The internet does have a way of exaggerating things. These are definitely important issues, but they shouldn't be causing you to get depressed.

Remember that things can also change fast. In 1950 blacks couldn't attend the same schools or live in the same neighborhoods as white, and by 1980 there were black lawyers and doctors and engineers.

At your age, you shouldn't be taking the world's problems on your shoulders. Focus on yourself and on being the best person you can be. Later on, when you are an adult and have more influence in the world, you can start to fight the bigger battles.

It is toxic, negative nonsense largely designed to capture your attention so various conmen can take your money.

You have your entire life ahead of you. You will make mistakes and have success and learn and grow. But women / girls are humans like yourself. They want the same things you want. Viewing the world in the sort of adversarial manner that these sorts of communities push on you is a one-way ticket to being a depressed incel.
