Interesting story. Good news for sure. The sentencing is far shorter than I think would be appropriate, but it is a good start seeing this sort of thing even resulting in any sort of conviction. I noticed that among the falsely accused victims were three women.

I hate that my first thought is that the only reason this false accuser was convicted is because some of the falsely accused were women.

While the contents of the victim impact statements were not disclosed in open court, Judge Staines said they were the most harrowing she had ever read.

Finally they are beginning to appreciate how harmful false allegations are.
