I'm honestly not surprised with that sub, it's full of crazy liberals who go mental at any mention of MRA , mens mental health etc.

I was and still am incredibly upset, and I decided to take a look at my son's social media, and I saw a lot of tweets and retweets about men's issues and mental health. There was nothing misogynistic, however I just didn't like the headspace he was in. So I explained to my son how disappointed am I with this decision he's made and that if he didn't reverse it, I would stop paying for it. Which he got really mad about, but didn't change his mind.

I love how she couldn't find any anything misogynistic on his social media but still decided that "his headspace wasn't right".

This is probably fake like 99% of the posts there but doesn't change how misandric that sub is , Also double standards. It's ok for women to have safe spaces but apparently when men do it , it's bad.

If this post is actually true then i really hope the sons see it and go NC with OOP , she honestly deserves it.

Edit: it gets even better.

So I just found out after some prying from my oldest that the incident was my son being sxually asaulted by a group of girls. Still absolutely zero reason to disallow girls from being members.

So she finds out that her minor son was SA and that was his reason for making the gym males only and she still riding her high horse. Honestly there no words for her

What's crazy is that there was a post on r/Ireland months back of a guy asking if there are any men's only gyms. Despite there being numerous women's only gyms (even one right next to where I live), and there were some positive answers, there were obviously a good amount of people flabbergasted at such a misogynistic idea.

The answer was there are no men's only gyms because it's not very inclusive. That said, women's only gym's are perfectly fine and flourishing in gender diversity.

I think it’s weird how a mother just brushed past how her son was possibly sexually assaulted, but other than that the comments don’t seem bad. I don’t think she entirely understands the purpose of a male only gym, but a gym specified to gender isn’t going to make money. And that’s exactly what everyone is saying on the comments. The comments are fine but OP is the AH.

After she commented that he was sexually assaulted by a bunch of women in there the comments drastically shifted.
