Can anyone point me to studies of domestic violence that address the issue of proxy violence, for example when a woman enlists other males to assault her male spouse on her behalf?

Similarly, are there any studies of domestic violence that address covert violence such as poisoning intimate partners?

I have read Philip Cook's book Abused Men and Donald Dutton's Rethinking Domestic Violence, but I don't recall them addressing these issues (but I could be wrong, it's been a while).
