Greg Brown's Telling Stories

Never heard of Greg Brown before, but I liked that song. At the line "we only have one life, but we remember others" I thought this is like "Our Town" by Iris DeMent. And what are the chances, he's Iris's husband!

Maybe Jackson C. Frank goes well with that sort of atmosphere.

On the title of "Man Positive" ... I don't know, it invites all sorts of self-therapy and navel gazing, which has its place. But as I just figured out for myself recently, young men expressing their emotions, both tender and aggressive, is less likely to look like a group therapy session, and more likely to look and sound like rock and roll.
