This might not be considered a particularly important issue but I just wanted to raise it anyway and see what the general opinion of the sub is.

I think we could do with cleaning up some of the reposts in this sub. I'm not talking about say, news stories that are posted, then reposted several months later, as the repost will likely reach people that didn't see it the first time, that's fair enough imo. I'm talking about the flip side of this, reposts of the same links on the same day or within a few days of each other. There have been several occasions where there are two posts to the same link on the front page at the same time. It doesn't serve to generate any additional discussion and it takes up a spot on the front page, and hence visibility, to another post that is not just a duplicate link.

I'm not disparaging the mods, they seem to do a fine job of keeping the sub running smoothly for the most part. I'm also unsure if this is something that the mods are happy to do, but the onus is supposed to be on the people in the sub to report bad reposts? Clarification on where the mods stand on this would be ideal. As I've said this is just one minor niggle that I have, maybe it's just me making a mountain out of a molehill, or maybe a lot of you will agree with me. We'll see! :)
