No, places like Reddit are just where the misandrists feel welcome and protected enough to let out the hate they have for us. In RL people tend to be more careful, even the ones that think we should all be castrated at birth or forced to grow up in a prison for the crime of being male won't usually say so publicly.

RL is more complicated, I've met pink haired women with a face full of metal who were kind and believed in real equality but I've also said good morning (in passing) to a woman on the street and told to keep away or she'd call the police.

Just remember it's not true just because some hateful woman says it's true, if you're a good man with a conscience and a sense of duty then no words from a misandrist can change that. The men that try to pander to these women and alter their behaviour to make them feel "safer" find that it's never enough, the women just move the goal posts because the fear/hate is emotion and you can't fix emotion with logic.

In my experience, nothing in real life even remotely approaches the insanity of Reddit. Mind you, I live in Canada, which is pretty chill and moderate, even though far-right agitators want you to think it's some sort of woke hell.

So, the psychos full embrace the insane standards and practices they think are the new norm. That's why they do happen.

Also, on a more interesting note, feels like they were given the green light by silent authorities to do many things that would get you locked up. All by design.

Even crazy people usually tone it down in the real world. Social media is never a good reflection of reality.

Women love the namecalling attacks because they require no evidence to attach to you and can never be removed. If she calls a man a rapist or molester he can prove his innocence, but no man can ever be exonerated after a woman dubs him "creepy," so this usually results in instant compliance with her wishes.

The insults usually start out smaller like "don't be weird, bro" as a warning that worse labels are coming. After weird and creepy don't work she'll suddenly get a "rapey vibe" off of you which is when she starts rallying reinforcements but still without specific allegations you can rebuff. If she does not obtain compliance after calling you rapey, then she says "I don't feel safe" in front of a cop, Doctor, EMT, or HR rep and now the Mandated Reporter laws kick in and create real problems for you with no chance of accountability to her if you manage to prove you're not a threat.

All these tools are available to them at any time with no risk so they throw them around like children playing with matches.

On reddit it's worse because everyone's anonymous and you can insult people in larger groups faster.

Kinda. Social media isn’t fake. It’s where real people feel safe enough to say what they actually think and feel with little or no consequence. Misandrists, racists, tribalism, all of it. People like that don’t stop existing in real life, they just aren’t as vocal about it.

People wear masks and you’ll never fully know what someone thinks just from small talk. Even if you’re friends, you might only know 50 to 80 percent of them, depending on the person.

So is real life more bearable because people aren’t constantly broadcasting stupid, radical opinions? Yeah. But does it also take away any comfort because you know a lot of people around you probably have those opinions and just keep quiet to avoid backlash? Also yeah.

First impressions and small talk don’t mean much. Try having a few deeper conversations with someone before deciding if they’re worth the effort or not. Most aren’t.

It's not as full blown outright in your face as reddit makes it seem but it 100% exists and most women do not even see it. There was one of my ex's single mom friends who started trying to tell me I ought to pay for all her bills. I told her she had better cut it out with that because she did not want to go there.

She then told my ex I should not be allowed to see my child. Mind you she started this shit at a dinner we were at so not even a good place to have the conversation. She has 2 children from different fathers, one of which is in prison the other is homeless and neither contribute. She doesn't work and lives with her parents.

It absolutely exists.
