More Double standards. Cops don't arrest this drunk-ass racist woman on scene for assaulting other women and threatening to shoot them because they didn't witness it directly (at 1:08 in video). Men get arrested regularly during domestic disputes based on false allegations and double standards.

In my state police cannot arrest anyone for any misdemeanor they don't personally witness. Race, gender, etc don't matter. If its a misdemeanor police can only cite (basically issuing a summons) or request a warrant.

You have to make sure your comparing apples to apples in cases like this as every state has different rules on misdemeanor arrests. So you can only compare same state to same state. Til about 2018 police in my state could arrest on violent / threat of violence misdemeanors they didn't witness but a state Supreme Court over a drug arrest got it changed to its a current form. Basically a guy was walking around a beach and walking up to women and groping them over their suits which is just battery (misdemeanor). He gets arrested and police find meth (a felony) in his pocket. He challenged the arrest as illegal because police didn't see it as a way to get the meth thrown out as fruit of the poisonous tree since it was only found due to the illegal arrest. Supreme Court agreed and now police can't arrest for misdemeanors they don't see. Other states are different.
