So where I live approx 90% of nurses are women and approx 50% of patients are men.

So how can so many women know what male patients need, after all, they are men?

I asked this question on my facebook page because over the last several YEARS, I have seen 'nurses are awesome' etc, etc, touting the need for more nurses and how important of a job they do.

I asked, where is the diversity, wouldn't diversity been really good in nursing. Where are the special programs, free tuition, etc, to attract more male nurses? Nothing, Nada, not a single response, or more accurately no positive responses.
