I don't know what it is called, but look at it this way. Every issue should be non-gendered.

Want to talk about domestic violence? Sure. We can see men AND women are effected. Do some research, and direct the appropriate amount of resource towards each gender. Regardless of what people say, men and women are different, require different amounts of support, and benefit from different resources. Currently, women's DV shelters are being prioritized, while DV happens to both men and women at roughly the same rates.

Education? The entire system needs to be improved. Furthermore, research needs to be done and or implemented into the different ways PEOPLE learn. If we find that men and women learn very different, they should be taught differently. If it turns out that rather than gender having an effect, other factors like home life have an effect, we should cater to students who need the resources.

Abortion? If a woman wants to abort her fetus then fine. However the opposite end of this is what people term a "financial abortion" where the man is not listed as the father, and does not have to pay or take responsibility for the child.

Men and women are biologically different. They act differently, they feel differently. This is not a bad thing. However, no issue is one sided. Theres two sides to every coin. You can't have equality, but have maternity leave and no paternity leave. You get the point.

The last thing to note, equality doesn't mean equity. In fact IN A WORLD OF EQUALITY, THE GAP WIDENS. At the top, you'll have the hardest working, most intelligent people. Thats just logical. If everyone is given the same OPPORTUNITIES, then the best of the best will be at the top. What we are looking at now, is a push for EQUITY of outcome. Meaning you don't need to be the best, to get paid and or treated like the best.

To sum it up, imagine this. Sally loves children. She decides to be a teacher. She makes 50,000$ a year. Her husband, mark who loves biology and chemistry is a bioengineer and makes 150,000 a year. In this situation we can assume equality. Sally loves children, and CHOSE to be a teacher which she KNEW paid less. Should teachers be paid more? Yes, but that's not related now. Mark CHOSE to be a bioengineer.

What we don't see here is equity of outcome. They were both given the same OPPORTUNITIES, but Sally CHOSE to be a teacher. While Mark chose to be a bioengineer. Of course Mark is going to be paid more, and THATS equality. Sally would be paid the same if she was a bioengineer as well.
