Is it just me or is it major B.S. that you can accuse someone of rape, a crime which has an average sentence of over 10 years and when they find out that you are full of shit you only get a slap on the wrist misdemeanor?

I'm rather new to Internet Activism. Is there any resource like this for Canada to petition the Harper Government to recognize the male sexual assault victims of our nation?
