Look I need some help/advice. I do not know what type of situation I am in.

I am 14 years younger than my wife, we got engaged about a year after I graduated. I saved to propose and everything. We then moved in together straight after. I was earning a lot less due to age and just was unable to save as much.

Moving forward to today, I pay a certain amount of money for month to contribute to things. However, I am broke and have not been able to save as I have a lot of direct debits. Loans, car and stuff to do with the house.

A lot of arguments happen because I am unable to contribute more money. I wanted to get a second job she said no because she wants us to spend time together. But I every argument she always brings up money and say I’m not a man because I take responsibility for nothing. Her mum has made digs about taking my wife on holiday but I cannot afford it so she will say comments or remarks regarding that. If I bring this up I would be told it was a joke man up about it.

I want to use today as an example, argument about money. She randomly starts shouting and screaming, I let it go and go until I just snapped and shouted back. I start shouting ago she walks up to me and says your squaring up your squaring up. She starts to slap me and punch me. To stop he from doing this I turn her around and put my arm around her neck for 1 second thinking she would stop. It got worse she ripped my t-shirt, I have received several punches and slaps to the back of my head neck and back. I also have scratch on my arm. Again to stop the slaps in self defence I grabbed her arm and twisted it slightly. She did then walk off and that was the end of it.

I know I was wrong as well but it was not stopping. She hospitalised me once with back of the head shots and threw a metal bottle to the back of metal head. I went hospital because I felt it bleeding from the inside and was dizzy. My head is dizzy as we speak right now and my ears were ringing.

Please some advice needed. There is so much more that I could bring up but it is really personal to me
