My name is Robert, I am 29 years of age and PSSD is something I have been suffering with for the last 6 years but the chances are, you've probably never heard of it right? This is because it's not yet recognised by the FDA or the NHS as a real problem, BUT I WILL CHANGE THIS! I run a charity to help raise awareness for this problem, we need to get the word out there, get it recognised and begin looking for a way to help with it. I've already been doing so, I've had multiple meetings with various areas of the NHS, with many doctors both here in the UK and the states. But this is very expensive, so any donations would be so extremely appreciated so I can can keep going on this journey to find us some help and get our problem recognised by the NHS!! PSSD is a big problem that is caused by prolonged use of SSRI/SNRI (Antidepressant) medications. Some people continue to experience sexual dysfunction for weeks, months, or years after stopping the medication. Sometimes, these symptoms emerge only after tapering off the medication but more often you will begin to experience the loss of sexual function while taking the medication. For an unfortunate minority, a complete and TOTAL elimination of sexual drive persists... Indefinitely. We may have severe or total loss of erotic sensation in our genitals, sometimes to the point of tactile numbness. We may be unable to experience attraction, arousal, or orgasm – for long periods and with no other discernible cause apart from treatment with antidepressants, sometimes, never again.
