My wife has major anger problems. She has a persona in public and everybody believes her to be this sweet precious woman. However, at home, she is horrible to the family sometimes. This has included physical abuse to me and at least 1 instance where she hit my son in the face while yelling at him. When she attacked me, she did it in front of all 5 of our kids. So, I have 5 witnesses. The ages of my children are 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13. The older kids should be able to remember stuff. I want to interview my kids. How would I go about doing this? I want it done as soon as possible and prefer a professional in some manner. I don't want to call in the civil authorities yet because I am hoping she will realize what she is doing. She downplays her anger issues and doesn't realize how bad it is. If I can't get a professional, I am thinking of just doing it myself and recording with my phone. Any recommendations on how to go about this? I have never done anything to her and she has been acting very distant lately. If it comes to divorce, I want to do an at fault divorce. Also, we have a counseling session on Monday and I want to be able to have evidence to confront her with and show other people involved in our situation.
