Last night I saw an extremely Feminist friend of mine post something along the lines of saying that "rape culture" applies to females, and that we need to change the way men act so that it does not happen.

I mentioned that more cases of unreported rape occur towards males, and mentioned that there are roughly 150,000 male rapes that occur in jails that are reported, and that this number is obviously on the low end.

She responded with stating that I do not understand what it is about. That rapists deserve to be in jail. I responded with what about all of their targets in prison. "They deserve it, they are in jail also"

This morning, she has removed me from Facebook. I texted her saying that I cannot believe that she would condone Rape Culture, regardless of gender, by saying inmates deserve it. If someone goes to jail for selling weed, that does not mean that they "Deserve" to be raped.

I said that I enjoyed our conversations, and her proactive attitude, but that I would not be speaking with her further.

I feel like she was focused only on the aspect of Females being raped by males, not the amount of rapes that occur total.
Also, for someone focused on "Rights", she completely ignored inmates, especially male ones.
