Been in the military 4 years and going overseas soon. I Eventually want kids someday, but I'm finding it harder and harder to find an avenue for success in that field when it usually means marriage as the conduit for that. I watched my dad go through the meat grinder of divorce court and I didn't understand why he was so mad or depressed all the time when I was a kid. Now that I'm grown and have seen the stats and watched friends go through similar nightmares I don't know if the juice is really worth the squeeze. This is probably the worst echo chamber to get some confirmation bias but I'm genuinely curious about others' thoughts.
