The man lives in the law of nature. The woman lives in the law of man.

Who should the man submit his affirmative action request to?

The sunlight breaching into the truck? The night that darkens the page?

He was accustomed together with the planet along its years of youth, to surviving.

To appear the next day, to appear after the blizzard at the top of the mountain.

It seems that today, the woman already has privileges. In the law of the state,

in social norms, in human sub-conscious biases

that prefer her, and always have. And it doesn't help.

Because no matter what you throw at the man, he will prevail. It is what he was meant for.

Affirmative action for women, that is, discrimination of men

to make way for women, is nothing

compared to the existential discrimination men sprouted in,

they were destined to overcoming, thus their biblical Hebrew name, 'overcomer',

they simply overcome again,

and again appear at the top of the mountain.

I wish there would be numerical equality. The shouting to stop. But it is not about to happen.

Even legislation that plainly forbids men of succeeding, and that's that,

won’t help here. They will overcome. In fact they are used to it.

For a law against succeeding had already been enacted, it's called life,

did that keep the man down?

The women can allow themselves to petition for affirmative action.

They have to whom. The woman yells at the man. The man yells at the sun.

The day women will live facing the sun, as men do, year after year,

all without exception, generation after generation, until forgetness, of the privilege

to live in humans-world rather than in the world of atoms, the deaf and blind,

to live in the universe of society instead of the universe of atoms, the atoms-dust.

Then numerical equality will arise.

Not into the law firms offices and the operation rooms should you flock,

but to the garbage rooms, the dirt trucks, the product crates,

the heavy scum of body parts on the road in a fish market at closure time,

the dust of the universe. It is what taught man success.

It is not success that taught man success.

Failure taught him success.

Not privilege, but the immaculate lack of rights

that any other atoms-dust like him has

in the law of nature.
