I'm sure many have heard the news already of calls to boycott and even shut down Rotten Tomatoes for the heinous crime of daring to host negative reviews of Suicide Squad.

Yeah, there's more to it than that, people are upset that DC movies get bad reviews and feel like there's a bias against it in the industry. (Catwoman was actually a cinematic masterpiece, right?) But it all comes down to the same thing, weak minded people want safe spaces for their movies because opinions contrary to their own are offensive and hurtful.

It's just another attack on freedom of speech perpetuated by people who believe opinions should only be allowed if they support the narrative they want to hear. The same kind of mentality that plagues those in vocal support of mens rights issues. The opinion police are everywhere, and you better agree with them, or else.

Side note: Look at the corruption in the gaming industry, all the shady practices used to make sure big titles get the reviews the production company wants to hear. You can't trust a critic anymore because you have no idea who has been bought and who hasn't. We, the people, have had no say in the matter. Corrupt businesses are ruining the gaming industry. Do we, the people, really want to impose more or less the same thing on the movie industry?
