Apart from the usual lower-brow straw man and other logical fallacies I often see preached about how, in so many words, "men owe women everything", the MK uppercut move I've noticed lately is how misandry these days, in its various forms, is considered a form of "reparations" for the sins of our forefathers and the wrong-doing of other men/"the patriarchy".

That is, regardless of the individual man's actions (on top of the whole illogical man vs bear quote), but instead, as a mentally lazy enemy box blanket (when the majority of us just want to live our lives/grateful for our rights, maybe find someone to love, and can also reasonably handle rejection without harm).

Okay, let's deconstruct this "reparations" concept, shall we?

First off, they claim misandry is the result of misogyny.

Fair enough... however, for critters (as TTM affectionately calls them), who seem to understand "cycles" must have failed math and trauma relief therapy, because last I checked:

Misogyny -> misandry -> misogyny -> misandry X Infinity.

In other words:

Abuse -> abuse -> abuse -> abuse X Infinity.

Why do people abuse?

  • It was done to them
  • It's the only way they know how to convey their pain
  • They don't take accountability/seek therapy

Now, let's look at what happens in abuse cycles. Usually, either:

  1. The abused becomes another abuser; dominant/controlling/manipulative/detached
  2. The abused becomes programmed to accept other abusers as baseline; submissive/desperate/clingy
    1. NEVER does it result in "oh, maybe they'll wake up and gain wings and a halo!"

Sure, a lot of men end up abusers as a result, but SO DO women. Maybe in different ways (slow death vs instant intense punishment), but, say it with me class: IT'S ALL STILL ABUSE. And yes, many men also become programmed to be submissive (I'm a living example).

And anyone who tries to justify abuse is: BAD.

No negotiations. Period. A lady tries to justify mistreatment or programming of another human in the name of feminist activism (or any other reason), automatic RED FLAG.

Same with guys, to be fair (and to avoid that annoying whataboutism/privilege check from the virtue scouts seeking a new moral badge after their college gender studies class, latest TikTok car rant, dumb new gossip app, or screeching harpie influencer of choice).

Now, how do we break the cycle? Well, gee, it's clearly not with more abuse, now is it? Don't even need an Associate's Degree to figure that one out.

How do we do it?

  • With hard work
  • Working together
  • Erasing the scoreboard
    • And instead, focusing on solutions to existing issues instead of harmful revenge vigilantism or bean-counting spoils of war
  • Using all the tools we have now to build a better tomorrow
  • Accountability/doing your own healing (with a healthy support network)
    • Rather than allowing a woman to nag you with her vision of what your own damn health should look like.
    • That's not being loving, that's being controlling and programming.
    • Besides, they constantly preach: "Not my job to fix you!", so they shouldn't get mad when you decline their unqualified "help".
    • Especially in light of the brand new "mankeeping" idiotic trend /eyeroll.
    • Aren't advanced degrees supposed to HELP the world, rather than dumb it down more/cause further division? I mean, when you get an advanced degree, you're usually given a speech about how it's a privilege to have such influence on the world with an educational advantage, and to do GOOD with it.
    • How is it not loving/caring?
    • Well, if most women use social media, and most social media is pumped full of at least some form of gender war rhetoric, and you find them constantly trying to correct/change your behavior, chances are very high that she'll absorb and perpetuate those beliefs and undermine your agency (with their favorite logical fallacy argument "Well it's a man's world!" as if the supposed "privileges" we have make life any easier to survive, let alone thrive in. It's not like we're Colonial land-owners or something).
    • Sure, men are susceptible to some degree of influence as well, but considering the average woman is more reliant on such social support structures (especially for regular validation dopamine dose; and doubly true if they're on dating apps which clearly are in their favor), whereas average men do their own thing (e.g.: Just want to relax, enjoy a brew and a game, generally avoid someone trying to squeeze money out of them), exposure over time, and therefore saturated influence factor, is highly variable per exposure quantity over time.

Now, back to the subject of "reparations", I consider myself exempt (and so should other men who share any of these similar experiences):

  • As a survivor of MATERNAL childhood abuse myself
    • and her baseline programming of what to accept in a partner/from other women
  • the programming from the feminization of education to disenfranchise boys psychologically
    • Sure, argue all you want that "men are in charge", but who RUNS the classrooms and has the most direct impact on the students?
  • enduring several abusive female romantic partners
    • Without hurting them in return
  • getting destroyed in California divorce court
  • producing a female offspring
    • and being a great father to her beyond bare minimum
    • SHE considers me a hero because I earned it
  • having been a liberal voter all my life
    • on principle, not who kisses my ass more
    • however, I'm really starting to question if ANY political side really does anything to help men, or just string us along for votes/war/labor/money then drop us, like always
    • No, I neither look like a homeless hippie, nor am I vegan. Most assume I'm right-wing because I like dressing well, drive a truck, have good manners, am confident, have an athletic body, and get my hair cut regularly.
  • gone to several women's marches
  • donated to DV shelters
  • Lived in California for more than a decade and been subject to enough progressive virtue-signaling lectures to teach a seminar
  • never seeking management or positions of power
  • Always accepting "no" for an answer and not being petty about it
  • Call out abusive behavior when I see it
  • Gone to therapy to ensure I don't perpetuate any reasonably harmful behaviors
  • constantly minding the physical boundaries of others,
    • only to have my friendliness be called "creepy" just because of my genitals

And, NO, this is also where I preemptively counter the MK uppercut move of "being a decent human doesn't warrant a medal or special treatment!".

Did I SAY I wanted special treatment? No? Then STFU and keep your parrot-brain rhetoric to yourself. I said I'm not giving "reparations" anymore. Basically, only giving baseline equality. If women don't want to smile or be nice to men/be a decent human, then I don't have to either/I'm not giving them special treatment compared to other men.

Fix/lift/reach/open/do your own labor or hire someone, and ACCEPT that we're splitting the bill, or that a coffee date is perfectly reasonable. OUR time/money are valuable too, 304, and simply existing and perceiving yourself as pretty doesn't entitle you to Chadwick Theodore Thundercock McDopamine the 3rd Esquire's income or amenities.

  • Btw, YES, even if we make under 6 figures (and/or have a house), unless marriage laws change, we damn well have a RIGHT to protect what we worked for and demand a prenup.

"We didn't want that anyway!" BULLSHIT.

If they truly didn't, they wouldn't get so mad when some of us look right past them and give them zero acknowledgement of existence in passing (just like they do to men), or lash out when we deny them any free services, or demand prenups.

Us dudes don't go around saying hey to each other or granting friendly courtesies beyond "excuse me/sorry bro" unless we know them... so why give anything extra to the ladies (unless they initiate, and even then, should only give what we can truly afford in time and energy)?

In conclusion, since blue awareness ribbons double as men's health and child abuse (and in some cases, cancer survival, which also applies to me), I might start wearing one. Foremost, it's good to support such causes. Secondly, I think it's a good signal of "I'm not taking your shit anymore/don't owe further feminist reparations/I've paid my due".

Don't know if this counts as a "meta" post (why is everything so complicated these days? I tagged it with "mental health", which applies, and it's on-topic. Keep it simple, fellas).
