Saw this post the other day

It shows the Gender ratio is 3:1 in Qatar in favor of men.

One thing to know about gulf countries is that they hire cheap South Asian labor (mainly men) for little pay to work in terrible conditions. This is usually the best they can do to feed their families back home in poverty-stricken countries.

Despite the fact that these men work in grueling conditions and an estimated ~6500 migrant workers have died in just constructing the Fifa stadium, the comments are something else. Many of the comments don't understand the hardships they go through and in fact, most of the comments are simply jokes about gay sex, and how women are the real victims because these men are all dangerous.

This breaks my heart to see what they have to endure and then be made fun of. It just confirms that society simply sees men as disposable, something to laugh at, and their suffering is actually victimizing women.
