This just happened to me in my gym! There is a girl I see in the gym from time to time and sometimes I look at her for a brief second and look away and keep working out. I noticed her looking at me for a few seconds a few times before tonight and I was like meh, I don't care!

However, tonight, I was walking by where she was doing a barbel shoulder press and I looked at her for a second and I was wow she has a perfect form while I was walking. I didn't stop or stare at her. I kept walking and went to where I wanted to go

A few minutes later, we worked out in the same area and I was looking to see where the 25 lbs dumbbells went. She was using them and I was just waiting for her to finish so whenever I think she is about to be done, I would just look in her direction for a second to see if she would return them. She finally did and I went and took them and started my exercise!

After my first set, and to my surprise, she took off her earbuds and told me "Stop staring at me"! I was confused and I replied "I was not staring at you" and that was the end of the conversation.

I know for a fact I was staring at her and I was minding my own business. I have been going to the gym for almost 4 years and never had any issues or did anything wrong.

Now, the thing is I am probably gonna see this girl again, what should I do if she says the same thing? How should I respond? Should I tell the gym manager about it?

Has this happened to anyone before?
