It's doing everyone a disservice, as it in contrast makes it appear like it's a smaller issue even if existent (whatever the topic may be), when it might be overwhelmingly much worse for males.

One example I saw on the forum recently was something alone the lines of "men experience domestic violence too" - which really annoys me because males suffer it far worse!

So - for everyone's sake, do not use a wording including "too", but be direct and clear about the facts at hand instead. Focus on males immediately, not as a counterpart or mirror of something.
