I think one of the major downfalls of feminism and other like-minded movements are the titles, hashtags, and whatever else they identify by. If ‘Feminism’ is supposed to be about ‘equality’ and not just for women, then why have feminine in the name? Just call it equality? Then you have KAM (Kill All Men) which is supposed to be bringing awareness to sexual assault? If you have to explain your movement and its ‘meaning’ has nothing to do with the name, how is it going to muster any support at all? Why would men bring attention and help with an issue when the forefront of it is about killing them? The list goes on. I’m just sick of these movements and their names.

On a sidenote, most middle aged/ older women I’ve discussed feminism with all hate the current state of it and agree that it is falling apart and straying from its goals. I dread what feminism will look like in 20+ years.
