People and the newspapers seem obsessed over it. Personally, I am sick of hearing about it.

But the point I want to make in this thread is that did Joanna Dennehy gain as much attention? Would any woman going around killing men cause as much outrage as the outrage with Elliot? There are some fucked up women out there that cut off penises. It mostly gets laughed at and the news gets forgotten pretty quickly. If it was a man cutting a woman's titts off or fucking up her vagina, people everywhere on fetlife and the newspapers would be talking about it for days or not if weeks.

When it's talked about, there's all this hysteria and hyperbole about women not being safe, misogyny is a big problem, patriarchy teaching men wrong, poor victimised women and evil men etc etc etc

It seems that when a man does something bad to women, society is up in arms over it for days or weeks. When a woman goes around fucking up men, it's news for 5 minutes and then forgotten.

The same type of deal when a white targets blacks in violent crime, big news...When it's the other way around, it gets forgotten pretty quickly.
