If I am a Fascist, I believe in the Survival of the Fittest. If I am a Socialist, I believe that all should get a fair share, no matter what. If I am a Capitalist, I believe that if you put in your fair share, you get your fair share.

If I am a Nationalist, I believe that I have a bond with the people within my home nation. That we are of one body and mind. If I am a Cosmopilite, I believe that I have no more bond with someone from my country than I do with someone half the world away.

If I am a Men's Rights Activist, I believe that men are discriminated against in certain ways, and we should work to fix this. If I am a Humanist, I believe that all peoples regardless of creed, race, sexuality or gender, are discriminated against, and we should work to fix this. If I am a Feminist, I believe that all peoples regardless of creed race, sexuality or gender, are discriminated against, and we should work to fix this. ... Hold on a minute. Something isn't right here. Can you spot what it is?

Can someone explain to me why 'Feminist' has come to somehow be equivocal to 'Humanist'? I mean, the clue is kind of in the name. MRM is for men, the Humanists are for all people, and Feminism is...also for all people apparantly. Huh. Kind of makes me think that Feminism is redundant, considering Humanism has been around for much, much longer.
