I've just read through the top comments for about a half hour and so many of them could boil down to "she was being overtly sexual toward me, I tried to reciprocate, I got threatened with HR/legal action/end of friendship seemingly out of nowhere" and in every case it's been something that completely surprised and hurt the guy posting.

Is this a lack of awareness of boundaries being taught to women by our culture? Perhaps a misunderstanding of what constitutes sexual harassment, or that it can have a woman as the aggressor? With several posters having conferred with female friends before making their seemingly reciprocal advances, I'm hesitant to think they could all be misunderstandings on the part of the guy. I'm curious about this group's opinions and theories on the matter.
