Often feminists will cede that things aren't that awful for women in the first world, but will then counter that they are awful in the developing world. But what they don't mention is that except for the rich, things are awful for men too in the developing world. Men still die younger, kill themselves more etc etc. In areas with violence this is doubly so, men are the primary victims of war, not women.
